About Author

Daniel J. Siegel is a clinical professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine and a founding co-director of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. He is also a prolific writer, speaker, and educator, specializing in the interplay between interpersonal neurobiology and psychotherapy. Tina Payne Bryson is a pediatric and adolescent psychotherapist and the founder/director of The Center for Connection in Pasadena, California.
