About Author

Richard H. Thaler is an American economist and a professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, known for his contributions to behavioral economics. He was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2017 for his work on behavioral economics. Cass R. Sunstein is an American legal scholar, particularly in the fields of constitutional, administrative, and environmental law, and is currently the Robert Walmsley University Professor at Harvard University. Together, Thaler and Sunstein co-authored "Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness," which explores how public and private organizations can help people make better choices in their daily lives through choice architecture.
